When you typically search for a keyword on Keyword Planner, it shows the search volume of a keyword in ranges like (0- 1K, 1K- 10K, 10k – 100K, 100K – 1M, or 1M – 10M).
Since the search volume shown on Keyword Planner has a huge gap, a lot of people are having difficulty finding the exact search volume of their desired keywords.

How to Fix Keyword Planner Not Showing Search Volume
While finding solutions to this issue, I came across two solutions that can be used to resolve the Keyword Planner not showing search volume.
Since both methods work differently, we will explain them separately.
Method 1: Use Keyword Everywhere Extension
The process of using the Keyword Everywhere extension to resolve the Keyword Planner not showing search volume is too simple.
However, if you don’t know the process then follow the steps written below:
First, open Keyword Planner on the Google Chrome browser.
Once it is opened, click on the ‘Discover new keywords’ option as shown in the above picture.
Enter the keyword whose search volume you want to discover into the text box that says ‘Enter product or services closely related to your business’.
Once entered, click on the ‘Get results’ button.
When you do so, you will be shown keywords related to your keywords and their average search volume. (see above picture)
Since the keywords shown on Keyword Planner have a huge gap, it is pretty difficult to guess the exact search volume.
To know the exact search volume of your keyword on Keyword Planner, you will need to add the Keyword Everywhere extension on your Google Chrome browser.
If you have not downloaded the Keyword Everywhere extension yet, download it now by clicking on this link.
Once added, click on the Extension icon located at the top right corner of the screen and pin the Keyword Everywhere extension.
Once it is pinned, turn On the Keyword Everywhere extension and search for the same keyword again on Keyword Planner.
When you do so, you will get the exact search volume of the keyword that you entered in Keyword Planner.
Apart from the exact search volume, Keyword Planner will show you the trend of the past 12 months.
Note: Make sure you are logged in Keyword Everywhere and have enough Credits.
If you don’t have Credits in Keyword Everywhere, chances are high that you would not get the exact search result of your desired keyword in Keyword Planner.
Method 2: Select Exact Match In Keyword Planner
The second method to fix the Keyword Planner not showing the exact keyword is pretty simple.
All you need to do is open Keyword Planner and click on the Discover New Keywords tab.
After clicking on it, you will need to enter your seed keyword and select the country you want to target.
Once selected, now you will have to select all keywords that appeared on the screen.
Once selected, click on the drop-down option and select ‘Exact Match’ as shown in the above picture.
Once selected, you will have to add these keywords to Plan. When you do so, all of your keywords will be added to your Plan.
Once added, click on the ‘Keyword‘ option located on the side panel.
When you do so, you will get the exact search volume of the seed keyword you entered in Keyword Planner.
